Google Maps
We load the interactive maps on the contact page only when you click “Load Google Maps” for the relevant map and thereby consent to the transfer of data. In particular, your IP address and browser and device data are transferred to Google. Google may use cookies and similar technologies and process data outside the EU. If you are signed in to Google, data may be associated with your Google account. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
Your permission applies only to the selected map during the current visit and is not stored permanently by our website. You can end the embedding by selecting “Deactivate map”; this does not reverse transfers that have already occurred. Opening a directions link takes you directly to Google Maps.

Privacy information for client matters
The following information concerns the processing of your personal data by our notary (“Notare im Donauzentrum”) in the performance of notarial duties and services.
Protection of personal data
Notare im Donauzentrum processes your personal data only with your consent, to carry out instructions you have given us for the purposes agreed with you, or where another legal basis within the meaning of the GDPR applies.
Notare im Donauzentrum processes personal data explicitly and actively provided by the user, including in particular name, gender, date of birth, address, email address, telephone or fax number, social insurance number where applicable, and data relating to payment transactions.
We collect only personal data necessary to carry out and complete our notarial duties and services, or data you have voluntarily provided to Notare im Donauzentrum.
Personal data is processed in particular for the following purposes:
- Carrying out the user’s instructions
- Fulfilling statutory obligations, particularly when acting on behalf of courts
- Technical administration, research and further development of the website
- Informing the user about services and products, where the user has consented
For the transactions specified in section 36a(1) of the Austrian Notaries Act (Notariatsordnung, NO), such as property transactions and corporate matters, Notare im Donauzentrum is subject to special statutory duties under the NO when processing personal data to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, particularly sections 36a–36f NO. Processing personal data under the NO for these purposes is regarded as a matter of public interest under the GDPR.

You have:
- The right to information on whether and which personal data about you is stored, including categories of data, recipients or categories of recipients, the retention period or the criteria used to determine it
- The right to rectification
- The right to object
- The right to data portability, provided that transferring the data does not involve disproportionate effort
- The right to restriction of processing
- The right to blocking or erasure of inaccurate or unlawfully processed data
You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given to the use of your personal data at any time.
The above rights may be refused or restricted if the interests, rights and freedoms of third parties prevail, if processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims by Notare im Donauzentrum, or if statutory retention obligations apply. Restrictions may arise in particular from duties of confidentiality under section 37 of the Austrian Notaries Act.
If you believe that the processing of your personal data by Notare im Donauzentrum infringes applicable data protection law, or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority. Where Notare im Donauzentrum acts as a court commissioner, the supervisory authority is the court.
